Lady Tigers JV team split games

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers JV basketball team came away with a split of their conference girls basketball games last week, losing at Skyview, but winning at home against Columbia.

Skyview 38

Mtn. Home 30

A fourth quarter rally proved to be too little, too late, as the Lady Tigers lost at Skyview 38-30 last Tuesday night at Skyview.

Mountain Home trailed 11-5 after a quarter and were down 26-11 at the half.

It was 33-18, Skyview, after three.

The Lady Tigers' fourth quarter rally fell short, as they lost 38-30 to the Lady Hawks.

Jennica Quintal led Mountain Home in scoring with seven points. Amanda Osborn added six, Trista Stepp five, and Arlene Futch, Lindsay Sessions and Keesha Janis each had four points.

Lady Tigers 42

Columbia 27

Mountain Home rallied for 16 points in the fourth quarter to pull away from Columbia 42-27 in conference action last Thursday night in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.

Mountain Home trailed 6-5 after a quarter, but grabbed the lead in the second, leading 18-16 at the half. They led 26-21 after three and outscored Columbia 16-6 in the final quarter to roll to a 42-27 win.

Amanda Osborn had a season-high 12 points. Arlene Futch added 11, Trista Stepp scored six, Jennica Quintal five, Lindsay Sessions four, and Jessica Liercke and Keesha Janis both scored two points.
