All-star team led by Kerfoot wins district all-star game

Mountain Home Tiger senior quarterback Kyle Kerfoot passed for two touchdowns to lead the East all stars past the West all stars 27-9 Saturday in the District III El Korah Shrine All Star Football Game at Eagle High School.

Kerfoot, who had a great year running the Mountain Home Tiger offense, helping them to a third-place effort in the 4A state playoffs, passed for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the East win.

Other Mountain Home Tigers on the East squad included Tallon Pauley, who rushed four times for 16 yards, Ricky Lee, Jesse Donez and Billy Derome.

Tiger head football coach Brian Floyd and one of his assistants, John Oliva, helped coach the East squad.

The East all stars also won the 8-Man All Star game, running to a 64-28 win. Rimrock's TJ Snyder completed four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown for the East.

He also intercepted a pass and had several tackles on defense.

Other Raiders on the East squad included Sam Richardson, who caught one pass for eight yards and also had several tackles, Anthony Ayala, who had four rushes for 22 yards, and several tackles on defense, and Alex Meyers, who played center.
