Marcos Antonio Vazquez Ortiz and Cynthia Martinez, of Mountain Home, have announced the birth of their daughter, Jewels Aniza Vazquez.

Jewels was born on Oct. 19, 2008 at Elmore Medical Center. She was 6.3 pounds and 18.75 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Maria Elena Ortiz and Ricardio Martinez, of Mountain Home.

Maternal grandparents are Rosario Martinez and Joaquin Martinez, of Mountain Home.

Melchor Ortiz is Jewels' great-grandparent.
