Nancy Feeney, 95, of Grand View, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at a local hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, at noon at the Knight Community Church in Grand View. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Nancy was born the last child of Charles and Annie Hall on Aug. 27, 1913, in South Shields, England. The family immigrated to the United States when Nancy was six weeks old. They settled in Monongahela, Pa., where Nancy spent most of her life.

Nancy quit school to help support her family.

Nancy married Ray Robison in 1933. One son, Clifford was born of that union, in 1935. Ray died in 1939 and she and Clifford moved in with her parents.

Nancy married Hobert Feeney in 1949. He died in the late '70s. Her son, Clifford, died in 1985.

She moved to Detroit, Mich., in 1994. From there she moved to Grand View in 1996 to be closer to her grandchildren.

Nancy was involved in Knight Community Church and the Rimrock Senior Center. "She has many dear friends in the community," her family said, adding, "she depended on Chuck and Anna Hency for handy-man jobs and shopping sprees."

Nancy is survived by: three grandchildren, a daughter-in law, Verla Robison (Paul Spang) and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by all her siblings, her son, Clifford, her husbands, Ray Robison and Hobert Fenney, and her great-granddaughter, Eliza Martin.
