Victorian Christmas Tea

The Mountain Home Historical Society will hold its "Back in Time… A Victorian Christmas Tea," at the museum on Saturday, Dec. 13.

There are two tea sittings, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Because of limited seating a ticket to attend is required. Tickets are $8 for Mountain Home Historical Society members and $10 for non-members.

The Victorian Christmas Tea is designed to showcase the 1908 Carnegie Building in the era it was built.

The Mountain Home High School Encore Co. will be performing scenes from "The Nutcracker." The welcoming hostesses will be the Mountain Home High School cheer squad.

The Victorian Tea menu has been designed by ladies with an English flair, Museum Director Nancy Marshall said.

The event also will feature specially designed baskets for a raffle drawing after the finally sitting. Raffle ticket holders do not have to be present to win.

Sunday dress, gloves and hats are optional.

The museum is located at 180 S. 3rd East St. Call 587-6847 for more information.
