Youth rock city council

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

The Mountain Home City Council meeting held Oct. 27 got off to a rocking start.

Members of the park and recreation program WILD Idaho demonstrated the video game "Rock Band" to the council.

The equipment was recently purchased with the aid of a grant from the Idaho Commission for Libraries.

After the demonstration, it was business as usual for the council who went to work creating rules for the newly opened parking lot on what was once the El Rancho restaurant, amending a city ordinance that governs the height of fences, decided to stop putting up tents for public events, had several discussions and approved the council's consent agenda.
