Schafer, Hirschhorn to wed

Makalya and Noah Schafer and half sister Natalya A. have announced the engagement of their parents Amber L. Hirschhorn and Joseph C. Schafer, both of Mountain Home.

Schafer, a 2003 graduate of Mountain Home High School, works at KFC and is the son of Edward and Noel Schafer.

Hirschhorn is employed at Subway and is the daughter of Dale Fixsal and Beth and Danny Simmons, all of Orlando, Fla.

The couple will marry Sept. 13, 2008 at Legacy Park.
