Mountain Home Challenge is Aug. 30

The Mountain Home Bowling Center is presenting the Mountain Home Challenge at 1 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Mountain Home Bowling Center at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

The tournament will be sanctioned by the USBC. The tournament will be scratch with qualifying consisting of a six-game block, moving one pair to the right after each game. Cut will be determined on size of field, with the top eight players advancing to match play if less then 40 bowlers, and the top 16 players advancing to match play if more then 40 bowlers in the field.

Match play will consist of a two-game block with winners advancing to step ladder finals.

Pre-registration is required, call 828-6329 to register. The entry fee is $40 and prizes, including $200 in door prizes, will be given away.
