Volleyball tryouts set Aug. 15

Volleyball tryouts for Mountain Home High School varsity, junior varsity and Mountain Home Junior High School teams will kick off Aug. 15, according to coach Rachele Asbury.

All students entering grades 7, 8, 9 and 11, as well as students new to district athletic programs, must have a physical on file before they can take part. Athletic packets and forms for students in grades 9-12 can be picked up at the high school office, those for students in grade 7 can be picked up at Hacker Middle School, and students in grade 8 can pick up their forms at the junior high. All paperwork must be submitted at least by the start of the tryouts.

Tryouts for students in grades 9-12 will be held Aug. 15 and 16 from 5:30-8 a.m. and 5:30-8 p.m., and on Aug. 18 from 5:30-8 a.m. The first practice begins Aug. 18 from 5:30-8 p.m.

Tryouts for students in grades 7 and 8 will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 18, 19 and 20.
