Bakers celebrate 40th

Bob and Marianne Baker of Mountain Home will mark their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 14.

A surprise party to honor the occasion was held for them by their children on Aug. 9 in Nampa.

The couple were married on Aug. 14, 1968, in Logan, Utah, after they had met at Utah State University.

After living in Boise they moved to Mountain Home in 1972 and began ranching. They own the Danskin Cattle Company.

Their have five children: MariLee Allred and her husband, Russ; Bryce Baker and his wife, Kathleen; Burke Baker and his wife, Ambra; Suzanne Stewart and her husband, Cameron, and Blake Baker. They also have nine grandchildren.
