Recycling just got easier

Tuesday, August 5, 2008
Recycling just got a whole lot easier in Mountain Home.

Residents will no longer have to sort their recyclables as part of Allied Waste's pilot program "Mix it Up."

Residents will only have to put all their recyclables in a bin of any sort, separate from their trash cans, and Allied Waste will take care of the rest.

See the Mountain Home News for more information.

This is such great news. Will we still have to pay the new rate for the recyclables totes if we don't use it? My husband and I want to get a large trash can of our own, with wheels, for our recyclables. I guess I'll call and find out.
