Hammetts celebrate 50th

Larry and Sue Hammett of Mountain Home celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 12, at the home of Karen and Bob Lormand.

The couple were married July 15, 1958, in Macon, Ga.

Those attending the celebration included their daughter, Margaret, and her family from Missoula, Mont., their granddaughter, Amanda, and great-grandson from Twin Falls, and their sorority and church families. Their son, Marty, of Reno, Nev., was unable to attend.

The couple moved to Mountain Home in 1969 with the Air Force. Larry retired from the Air Force and Sue retired from Civil Service at MHAFB.
