Basketball camp set for July 14-17

The Summer Slam'n Youth (Boys/Girls) Fundamentals and High School Position Basketball Camp is coming to Mountain Home July 14-17 at Hacker Middle School.

Former Mountain Home Lady Tiger JV girls basketball coach Corey Baerlocher, the current Colfax High School (Washington) girls basketball coach, and founder of All American Camps, will serve as the Camp Director.

In six years as head coach, Baerlocher has compiled a 145-30 record, taking his teams to six straight state tournaments. During his tenure at Colfax, the girls basketball program has won four consecutive state championships, as well as five regional championships and five district championships.

The camp will have three different camps for three different age groups.

The Little Dribblers Camp for boys and girls ages five to seven will be from 8:30-9:55 a.m. each morning. Cost of that camp is $25, or $20, if pre-registered by July 2.

The Youth Fundamental Camp will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m each day and is for boys and girls ages 8 to 12. Cost of the camp is $45, or $40, if pre-registered by July 2.

The High School Position Camp for boys and girls ages 13-18 runs from 1:30-5:30 each day of the camp, with a cost of $65, or $55, if preregistered by July 2.
