An unidentified driver had to be extricated from his vehicle and taken by air ambulance to a Boise hospital following a single-car rollover early Tuesday morning on I-84 at milepost 82.

The driver, who was eastbound on the interstate at the time, was not identified as authorities sought to contact his nearest relatives.

Both lanes of the interstate were briefly closed down while the victim was loaded into the air ambulance, which set down on the interstate.
