House fire kills dog

Earlier this morning, Mountain Home Fire Department units responded to a structure fire at 1040 E. 4th North St., which caused heavy damage to the structure.

It is believed that at least one of the owner's dogs was killed in the fire.

According to Chief Phil Gridley, the investigation on the source of the fire is underway. More information can be found in this week's Mountain Home News.
