Carolyn Elaine Smith, 56, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at a Boise hospital.
A graveside inurnment will be held on Thursday, April 3, at 3 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Carolyn was born on Dec. 21, 1951, in Boise, Idaho, to Stephen and Phyllis (Reisinger) Smith.
She graduated from Mountain Home High School and resided most of her life in Mountain Home.
She worked at Cedar Crest Residential Care Center.
"She loved most things Disney and country western music," her family said. "She also liked to collect blown glass figurines. She loved to write letters to friends and relatives."
Carolyn is survived by: her two nephews, Ken Palmer of Boise and Carl Palmer of Texas, and her niece, Brenda Sears, of Mountain Home.
She was preceded in death by: both her parents; her sister, Brenda (Smith) Palmer, and her brother, David "Joe" Smith.
