Wherever he goes, success seems to follow Korey Hall.

At Glenns Ferry High School, Hall helped lead the Pilots to the 2A State High School Championship game.

As a member of the Boise State Broncos he and the Broncos enjoyed a lot of success including the Fiesta Bowl win in 2007.

After being drafted out of college by the Green Bay Packers, he was a member of a Packer team that turned things around and was just a win away from playing for the Super Bowl, losing to the New York Giants, 23-20, in overtime in the NCF Championship game.

"It was a real exciting season for us," said Hall, who started as fullback for the Packers, and was also on special teams.

"It was kind of a tough loss (the NCF championship game), but looking back, it was great to make it that far and have the season that we did. It would have been real nice to say you played in the Super Bowl as a rookie, but that's the way it goes, and we've got to start preparing for taking another shot at it next year."

The NFC Championship game at Green Bay had horrific weather -- blowing snow with a temperature of minus four, with wind-chill of 25 below. How was it playing in that?

"Well, it was probably the coldest game I've ever played in," Korey said, with a chuckle. "It's one of those things, there's not any amount of clothing you can put on to make it warm out there, so you've kind of got to tough it out for about four hours, and it can definitely start to wear on you."

This year's Packer squad had a lot of young players on it, but Hall said the veterans played a big part in their success.

"I think that's the one thing about our team, we do have some young players, and also, I think we're real solid just in the fact we have a few older guys that have been to and won a Super Bowl and been to NFC Championship games. And I think all the younger players can learn a lot from just those few older guys we have, and I think that really helped us out this season."

Looking back on his first season in the NFL, Hall said it was fun and exciting and went by quickly.

"It was real exciting and you start off and you just want to make the team, and you end up getting a spot, and it's just one game at a time, and you just try to have a good game each week, and before you know it, the season's almost over and you're in the playoffs and it all goes by pretty fast."

On the season Hall caught nine passes for 61 yards (6.8 yards per catch). On special teams, he had 14 tackles.

One thing for sure, the Korey Hall faithful are looking forward to next year and watching their Korey continue to be a part of the Green Bay Packers and cheering him on to future successes.
