Magistrate Court

Richard L. Johnson, 47, was found guilty for an amended charge of Arson I-dwelling/structure normally occupied, (12/13/07 case, amended to property-damage forage from throwing lighted sub.)

Johnson was sentenced to 6 days in jail, (6 days credited), placed on 6 months probation and fined $50 plus $175.50 in court costs.

Jorge Luis Gracia, 23, had a charge of grand-theft, (12/22/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Gracia was found guilty for a charge of possession of a controlled substance, (12/22/07 case). Gracia was sentenced to 90 days in jail (85 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation and fined $500 ($200 suspended) plus $120.50 in court costs.

Gracia was found guilty for the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, (12/22/07 case). Gracia was fined $200.

Laurel R. Gomez, 45, was found guilty for the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, (4/4/99 case). Gomez was sentenced to 60 days in jail, (58 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, issued 20 hours of community service and fined $200 ($200 suspended).

Gregory W. Hickman, 41, was found guilty for driving under the influence, (4/30/99 case). Hickman was sentenced to 90 days in jail, (80 days suspended), placed on 2 years probation, ordered into a treatment program, had his drivers license suspended for 1 year and fined $1,000 ($1,000 suspended).

Hickman had charges of driving under the influence and unlawful transportation of an open container of liquor, (4/30/99 cases), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Hickman was found guilty for an amended charge of carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, (4/30/99 case, amended to carry concealed weapon without a license). Hickman was placed on 2 years probation.

Hickman had a charge of failure to appear for a misdemeanor citation, (5/6/99 case), that was dismissed by the court.

For these charges, Hickman had to pay $300 in forfeited bonds.

Jeffrey J. Jepsen, 52, was found guilty for an amended charge of aggravated assault, (11/6/00 case-amended to assault). Jose G. Martinez-Torres, 21, was found guilty for driving without privileges, (6/5/04 case). Torres was sentenced to 60 days in jail (57 days suspended with option of 60 hours of community service), placed on 1 year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 ($200 suspended) plus $114.50 in court costs.

Torres was found guilty for contempt of court. Torres was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended, 2 days credited) and fined $100 ($100 suspended).

Joseph C. Schafer, 23, pleaded not guilty for a charge of reckless driving stemming from a 10/21/05 case. Schafer was found guilty and fined $250 plus $74.50 in court costs.

Schafer was found guilty for contempt of court. Schafer was sentenced to 3 days in jail, (3 days suspended) and fined $75 plus $50 in court costs.

Dustin W. Even, 26, was found guilty for driving under the influence, (4/14/06 case). Even was sentenced to 90 days in jail (80 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $524.50 ($200 suspended) plus $245.50 in court costs.

Even had a charge of driving without privileges, (4/14/06 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Even was found guilty for contempt of court and sentenced to 2 days in jail (concurrent).

Even was found guilty for driving without privileges, (1/11/07 case). Even was sentenced to 2 days in jail, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $38.50 plus $141.50 in court costs.

Even was found guilty for contempt of court and sentenced to 5 days in jail (3 days suspended, 1 day credited). Even was found guilty for a second contempt of court charge.

Sandra Castro, 26, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (8/2/06 case). Castro was sentenced to 60 days in jail (55 days suspended, 1 day credited), placed on 1 year probation and fined $300 ($300 suspended) plus $78.50 in court costs.

Castro was found guilty for a probation violation, (8/2/06 case). Castro was sentenced to 5 days in jail, issued a work release and placed on 1 year probation.

For both charges Castro was ordered to pay $50,924.62 in restitution.

Ozzie Streeter, 43, was found guilty for an amended charge of enhancement-domestic battery/assault-child present, (10/23/06 case-amended to disturbing the peace). Streeter was sentenced to 180 days in jail (167 days suspended, 13 days credited) and fined $1,000 ($900 suspended) plus $72.50 in court costs.

Colleen K. Brown, 44, was found guilty for driving without privileges, (11/10/06 case). Brown was sentenced to 2 days in jail, (1 day credited), had her drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Brown was found guilty for failure to appear for misdemeanor citation, (11/10/06 case). Brown was fined $75.

Aristeo G. Marquez, Jr., 25, was found guilty for theft by receiving/possessing stolen property etc., (5/3/07 case). Marquez was sentenced to 180 days in jail (162 days suspended, 18 days credited), placed on 2 years probation and fined $500 ($500 suspended) plus $172.50 in court costs.

Marquez had a charge of failure to appear for a misdemeanor citation, (5/3/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

For these charges, Marquez was ordered to pay $668.91 in restitution.

Sashima L. Schlitter, 25, was found guilty for an amended charge of reckless driving, (7/27/07 case-amended to inattentive/careless driving). Schlitter was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation and fined $300 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Tamara L. Bevell, 39, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (9/17/07 case, amended to driving without privileges - 1st offense).

Bevell was sentenced to 30 days in jail (25 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, had her drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $190.50 in court costs.

Bevell had a charge of reckless driving, (9/17/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Robert Randal Cornford, 21, had a charge of battery, (9/22/07 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Cornford was found guilty for disturbing the peace-willfully disturbing the neighborhood, (9/22/07 case). Cornford was sentenced to 1 day in jail (1 day credited) and fined $150 plus $175.50 in court costs.

Stephanie L. Hoagland, 28 was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (9/25/07 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Hoagland was fined $150 plus $77.50 in court costs.

Hoagland was found guilty for possessing a mutilated, altered or revoked drivers license, (9/25/07 case). Hoagland was fined $75.

Hoagland was found guilty for failure to appear for a misdemeanor citation, (9/25/07 case). Hoagland was sentenced to 1 day in jail (1 day credited) and fined $75.

Agustin Martinez-Martinez, 21, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (10/6/07 case). Martinez was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation and fined $150 plus $2 in court costs.

Martinez was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (10/6/07 case). Martinez was fined $125 plus $75.50 in court costs.

For both charges, Martinez had to pay $32.40 in restitution.

Gerald D. Lay, 30, was found guilty for driving without privileges, (9/3/07 case). Lay was sentenced to 2 days in jail (1 day credited), placed on 6 months probation, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250 plus $90.50 in court costs.

Lay was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (9/3/07 case). Lay was sentenced to 10 days in jail (10 days suspended) and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Benjamin K. Smith, 18, had an amended charge of inattentive/careless driving, (11/3/07 case-amended to driving-offense by person owning/controlling vehicle), dismissed by the prosecutor. Smith was ordered to pay $200 in forfeited bonds.

Lisa M. Zuniga, 20, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (11/28/07 case, amended to DWP - 3 offenses). Zuniga was sentenced to 180 days in jail (150 days suspended, concurrent with Count II), placed on 2 years probation, had her drivers license suspended for 2 years and fined $1,000 ($500 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Zuniga was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (11/28/07 case). Zuniga was sentenced to 30 days in jail (concurrent with Count I) and fined $300.

Mary E. Rheuby, 27, was found guilty for an amended charge of the unlawful transportation of an alcoholic beverage, (12/18/07 case-amended to the consumption and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container). Rheuby was fined $15.50 plus $44.50 in court costs.

Rodolfo Gracia, 26, was found guilty for an amended charge of grand theft, (12/22/07 case-amended to driving a vehicle without the owners consent). Gracia was sentenced to 180 days in jail (173 days suspended, 2 days credited, concurrent with Count II), placed on 1 year probation and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $110.50 in court costs.

Gracia was found guilty for driving without privileges, (12/22/07 case). Gracia was sentenced to 60 days in jail (56 days suspended, concurrent with Count I), had his drivers license suspended for 180 days and fined $250.

James A. Brooks, 21, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (12/22/07 case). Brooks was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation and fined $300 ($150 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Renae L. Wilson, 40, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (12/24/07 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Wilson was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Arturo Aviles, 21, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (1/3/08 case). Aviles was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation and fined $300 ($150 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Raul T. Lopez, 44, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, stemming from a 1/17/08 case, the charge was amended to driving without privileges - 3 offenses.

Lopez was sentenced to 180 days in jail (150 days suspended, 28 days credited, remanded for remaining 2 days), placed on 2 years probation, had his drivers license suspended for 2 years and fined $2,500 ($2,200 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Lopez had a charge of carrying a concealed weapon without a license, (1/17/08 case), dismissed by the prosecutor.

Lydia A. Sutton, 48, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (1/26/08 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Sutton was sentenced to 30 days in jail (30 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation and fined $200 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Terri L. Hodges, 45, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving, (1/27/08 case). Hodges was fined $100 plus $78.50 in court costs.

Arturo Tellez-Garduno, 32, was found guilty for a violation of his drivers or commercial drivers license, (1/28/08 case). Garduno was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Teresa K. Carlton, 40, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges, (1/27/08 case-amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license). Carlton was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Marcia L. Avella, 38, was found guilty for dogs running at large, (2/2/08 case) and fined $15.50 plus $41.50 in court costs.

Paul J. Turcotte, 48, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (2/1/08 case). Turcotte was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Jason A. Petersen, 37, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license, (2/1/08 case). Petersen was fined $68.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Ariel Kristen Rosecke, 16, was found guilty for possession, distribution and the use of tobacco by a minor, (2/5/08 case). Rosecke was fined $118.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Susan M. Olarick was found guilty for driving on a divided highway/restricted access, (2/5/08 case). Olarick was fined $13.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.
