Students ready musical

Students rehearse for the MHJHS musical "Good News!" which will be performed Feb. 21-23.

The Act Out Theatre Company at Mountain Home Junior High School, a cast and crew of over 50 students, have been rehearsing for several weeks preparing to perform the musical "Good News!"

The musical is described by assistant director and producer Julie Vogl as "an energetic, clever play set at a college in the 1920s. Much of the focus is on the excitement of the upcoming 'big game', including some fun interactions along the way. Full of music and dancing, this musical is sure to please and entertain."

There will be three performances only, at Mountain Home Jr. High, on Thursday, Feb. 21, Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23. Show times are at 7 p.m. each night.

Admission price is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available at the junior high and at Mulberry Place, 250 E. 5th North St. Tickets also will be sold at the door, but based on last year's sell-out crowds for "Shakespeare's Coming To Calamity Creek" the company anticipates a packed house this year as well, so early ticket purchases are being encouraged.
