Santa says thanks for the parade

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Dear Citizens of Mountain Home:

What a jolly ole' time riding in this year's Christmas Parade of Lights. Our way was guided by 'Following the Star' on the many merchant and organization floats, your cheers and all the new lights on the tree.

The Retail Merchants Committee, D&D Trees, Girl Scouts, Elmore County Search and Rescue and the City of Mountain Home worked really hard to make Triangle Park light up with holiday cheer.

Even though it was cold and the BSU game was on the TV, all the children and their parents joined in the Christmas fun. Riding in the Mountain Home fire truck was a great treat for Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Ho, ho, ho and thank you to the City of Mountain Home, the mayor, the fire station and all the volunteers from MHAFB and town folks. And a special thanks to our police department for making the evening safe for everyone.

And for all the little girls that asked for make up, you're already pretty!

Merry Christmas to all!

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus
