Any time there is a change in status of a case, such as a withheld judgement successfully or unsuccessfully completed, or a probation violation that results in all or part of a suspended sentence being executed, or a number of other factors, some quite minor, the case will be kicked back out by the courts and show up in the reports, usually without an explanation of what the change was.)

Magistrate Court

Joanna L. Biser, 19 , was found guilty for a charged of possession, consumption and purchase of an alcoholic beverage as a minor (7/14/04 case). Biser had her drivers license suspended for 30 days and fined $25 plus $63.50 in court costs.

David C. Martin, 22, was found guilty for a charge of failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license (3/16/05 case). Martin was fined $150 plus $83.50 in court costs ($10,672.28 in restitution).

Martin was found guilty for an amended charge of failure to stop at the scene of an accident (3/16/05 case), the charge was amended to failure to notify upon striking fixtures on the highway. Martin was fined $150 ($10,672.28 in restitution).

During trial, Martin was found guilty for a contempt of court charge. Martin was sentenced to 1 day in jail (1 day credited) and ordered to pay the $10,672.28 in restitution.

Martin was found guilty for a second contempt of court charge. Martin was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days credited), placed on 2 years probation, and ordered to pay $10,672.28 in restitution.

Jacob D. Hollenbeck, 21, was found guilty for possession of a controlled substance (11/27/06 case). Hollenbeck was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation, and fined $500 ($300 suspended) plus $194.50 in court costs.

Hollenbeck was found guilty for the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia (11/27/06 case). Hollenbeck was placed on 1 year probation, and fined $150.

Hollenbeck had a probation violation dismissed by the prosecutor.

Joel J. Ortivez, 37, was found guilty for dogs-vicious dogs (5/10/07 case). Ortivez was fined $125 plus $72.50 in court costs.

Ortivez was charged with contempt of court, which was later dismissed by the court.

Chance Shawn Mckeel, 40, was found guilty for driving without privileges (5/25/07 case). Mckeel was sentenced to 20 days in jail, had his drivers license suspended for 180 days, and fined $250 plus $162.50 in court costs.

Mckeel had a charge of failure to give immediate notice of an accident dismissed by the prosecutor.

Rocky L. Vitale, 53, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license (7/21/07 case). Vitale was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Joetta Marlene Rheuby, 49, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license (8/13/07 case). Rheuby was sentenced to 2 days in jail, and fined $150 plus $99.50 in court costs..

Rheuby was found guilty for failure to provide proof of insurance (8/13/07 case). Rheuby was sentenced to 2 days in jail, and fined $150.

Joy Y. Higgins, 22, was found guilty for an amended charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, the charge was amended to resisting or obstructing officers (8/25/07 case). Higgins was sentenced to 30 days in jail (25 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation, and fined $1,000 ($850 suspended) plus $146.50 in court costs.

Higgins pleaded guilty for a driving under the influence charge stemming from a 8/25/07 case, the case was dismissed by the prosecutor. Higgins was placed on 1 year probation, and fined $850 ($850 suspended).

James B. Padgett, 26, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges (8/31/07 case), the charge was amended to failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license. Padgett was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

James M. Kreutzer, 17, was found guilty for an amended charge of reckless driving, the charge was amended to inattentive/careless driving (9/14/07 case). Kreutzer was fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Matthew S. Hiddleston, 35, was found guilty for fishing with illegal gear (net, spear, artificial light), the charge is stemming from a 9/23/07 case. Hiddleston had his fishing license suspended for 2 years, and fined $200 plus $83 in court costs.

James C. Heddlesten, 27, was found guilty for inattentive/careless driving (9/30/07 case). Heddlesten was sentenced to 10 days in jail (10 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation, and fined $300 ($150 suspended) plus $78.50 in court costs.

Raul C. Araiza, 30, was found guilty for failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license (9/28/07 case). Araiza was fined $250 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Araiza had a charge of failure to maintain liability insurance dismissed by the prosecutor.

Araiza was found guilty for failure to appear for misdemeanor citation. Araiza was fined $25.

Mark D Sells, Jr., 24, was found guilty for reckless driving (10/7/07 case). Sells was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, and fined $300 ($100 suspended), plus $75.50 in court costs.

Ivan B. Martinez, 16, was found guilty for reckless driving (10/9/07 case). Martinez was sentenced to 30 days in jail (28 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, and fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.

Tashia L. Scholten, 15, had a charge of controlled substance-frequenting place used, etc. dismissed by the prosecutor.

Myrtle W. Mccarroll, 17, was found guilty for possession, distribution and use of tobacco as a minor (10/9/07 case). Mccarroll was fined $75.50 plus $2 in court costs.

Deangelo D. Conley, 21, was found guilty for altering the certificate for liability insurance. (10/9/2007 case) Conley was fined $116.50.

Julio Fuentes, 34, was found guilty for a violation of his drivers or commercial drivers license (10/7/07 case). Fuentes was fined $144.

Charles W. Freeman, 30, was found guilty for littering roadway from a vehicle (10/10/07 case). Freeman was fined $109.

Tarrell L. Green, 21, had a charge of driving under the influence dismissed by the prosecutor.

Steve R. Huot, 41, was found guilty for consumption and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container (10/13/07 case). Huot was fined $100 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Jairo N. Salas-Salas, 22, was found guilty for driving under the influence (10/22/07 case).

Salas was found guilty for a violation of his drivers or commercial drivers license (10/22/07 case).

Jason A. Hotchkiss, 29, was found guilty for an amended charge of driving without privileges (10/19/07 case). Hotchkiss was sentenced to 365 days in jail (285 days suspended, 6 days credited), placed on 2 years probation, had his drivers license suspended for 2 years and fined $2,500 ($2,500 suspended) plus $90.50 in court costs.

Amber L. Todd, 18, was found guilty for possession, consumption and purchasing of an alcoholic beverage as a minor (10/24/07 case). Todd had her drivers license suspended for 30 days, fined $100 plus $75.50 in court costs.

William Brooks Schroyer, 42, was found guilty for "Fg. Comission Road Closure Restriction Violation" (10/24/2007 case). Schoryer was fined $106.

Armando M. Ochoa-Martinez, 21, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of battery (stemming from a 12/10/04 case). The court entered a withheld judgement.

During trial, Martinez was found guilty for a contempt of court charge. Martinez was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation and fined $75 plus $65.50 in court costs.

Martinez was found guilty for a second contempt of court charge. Martinez was sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days suspended).

Martinez was found guilty for resisting or obstructing police officers, (3/2/06 case). Martinez was sentenced to 365 days in jail (365 days suspended, 100 days suspended jail imposed, concurrent w/any other case-credit for 73 days served), placed on 2 years probation and fined $1.035 ($800 suspended) plus $430.50 in court costs.
