McNeal really is a big deceiver and shouldn't be re-elected

Dear editor:

Thank you, Kelly Everitt, for writing "It's Time for a Change," in the Oct. 24 issue.

I, for one, cannot say I like Joe McNeal.

When Joe sent out his candidacy announcements I returned such to Joe McNeal stating he left out one thing on his announcement, and that he was a big deceiver. You hit the nail on the head.

The mayor called me and wanted to know what I meant by that. Did you get a telephone call, Mr. Everitt? The truth hurts. Don't call again!

One of Joe's goals must be proclamation plus and many pictures in the Mountain Home News. Is there any day left that haven't been proclaimed? The walls in his home must be near full by now. It's a wonder his hat fits. Must be another goal as being mayor. Big city mayors don't get the coverage that Joe McNeal gets....

Like I told Mr. McNeal, "hang in there, Joe." The rope gets shorter as time goes by.
