Tiger runners do well at state x-country meet

Wednesday, October 31, 2007

Mountain Home's two runners represented themselves well at the State 4A Cross Country Meet run at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls.

Alysia Crandall ran her best time ever, going the course in 20:57.16, which placed her 24th. Haley Schaefer came in 31st with a time of 21:30.57.

"They ran very well," said Tiger cross country coach Doug Root of his two state qualifiers. "Alysia finished 24th, which was a surprise that she finished ahead of Haley, but Haley finished in the top third, and I've got both of them coming back next year, and we're excited about next year."
