Brayden Ray Buchanan, infant son of Kimberly Meek and Daniel Buchanan of Mountain Home, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at a Boise hospital.
A viewing will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
"Brayden was a perfect gift from God," his family said. "Although his time was too short with us, he was cherished and loved. He brought smiles and joys to those who looked upon him. Though he will be missed, he has gone home to be with the Lord. We know that he will look over us with his big blue eyes as a guardian angel. He was our miracle, our true blessing, we love you buddy. You were and still are our little man."
Brayden is survived by: his mother, Kimberly Meek; his father, Daniel Buchanan; grandparents Linda Lou and James Buwalda, Yves and Beverly Meek, William and Sherry Buchanan, Lisa and Brian Shrout; great-grandparents Paul and Tonie Loll, great-great-grandmothers Rebecca Johnson and Aline Meek; aunts and uncles Stephanie and Shawn Frye, Patricia and Law Parrett, Christopher G. Meek, Samantha P. Meek, Billy Joe Buchanan, Matthew John Buchanan, Joshua Charles Buchanan, April Mashburn, Amy Hart, Brittany Rice and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and family friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather William F. Meek, great-grandfather John Buchanan, and great-grandfather William Lovie Dolittle.
An account has been set up at Pioneer Federal Credit Union in memory of Brayden to assist the family with costs incurred due to the family's loss.
