Newspaper issues are now on-line

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Electronic editions of the Mountain Home News are now available on the paper's website at www.mountainhomenews.com.

As an initial introduction, the e-editions are available free for a limited time.

The e-editions are exact replicas of the "hard copy" newspaper published each Wednesday. Archived versions are available going back to late August.

Readers using the e-edition can flip through the newspaper, scan the headlines and browse the advertising just as if they were holding an actual newspaper. Readers can enlarge the type, print any story, or even e-mail it.

The service makes it easier to browse and search the newspaper archives and provides faster access to subscribers who live outside the primary delivery zone of the newspaper.

Online subscriptions are available, which will be needed once the trial period ends. Those who currently have a "hard copy" subscription will automatically be given an on-line subscription as well.
