Eight arrested in drug bust at local home

Eight people were arrested following a raid on a home in the 600 block of Brookside Court last Tuesday evening.

The Mountain Home Police Department Special Investigations Unit and Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant on the home following a 4 month investigation by the SIU on allegations of distribution and selling of illegal narcotics from the residence.

An undisclosed amount of marijuana, pharmaceutical drugs, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

"It was a community effort and involvement that brought this illegal operation to a halt. The citizens of our community are sending a message that drug activity will not be tolerated and such activity will be stopped to ensure the safety and quality of life for the citizens of Mountain Home," noted Intern Chief Julee Bunderson.

Arrested in connection with the case were:

* Christopher Swank, 32, charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use.

* Kristin Knauber, 19, charged with possession of controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use.

* Rebecca Soboslai, 18, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.

* Clayton Ealy, 29, charged with possession of controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.

* Erihn Anderson (no age given), charged with frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.

* Joshua Loader, 23, charged with possession of controlled substance, and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.

* Jennifer Wolcott, 22, charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.

* A 17-year-old juvenile.
