Optimist Football -- Three teams pick up wins

There were some exciting football games last Saturday in Optimist Football, with three Mountain Home teams picking up wins.

In the Freshman (nine year-olds) Division, C-2 Construction picked up their third straight win of the season, beating Idaho Independent Bank, 6-0. Moxie Java-TCBY lost to Cummons Rocky, 24-0.

For the Sophomore (10 year-olds) Division, Johnson Brothers Hospitality returned to the win column, beating Union Land, 16-0.

In the Junior (11 year-olds) Division, Mountain Home Physical Therapy won their second straight, downing Pioneer, 12-0.

In the Senior (12 year-olds) Division, Master Electric lost a tough defensive struggle to The Warriors, 6-0.

In Flag Football (7- and 8 year-olds), Thrifty Car Sales faced First Horizon Home Loans, Elmore Medical Center faced Keenes of Nampa. Mountain Home Auto Ranch took on Lineberry's Orthodontics. No scores are kept in Flag Football.
