Russ Anderson cares, would be great on council

Wednesday, October 3, 2007

Dear editor:

Russ Anderson would make an outstanding city councilman for the City of Mountain Home.

I have long admired Russ for his ability to make decisive decisions and to step up to take a leadership role. I have watched him work with groups of diverse people who could get caught up with philosophizing how the job should get done. He's naturally taken charge and has gotten everyone to work together to get the job done.

Russ Anderson is a man who cares about his community. He's served for years on the volunteer fire department and has sat on numerous boards including the library board. He's the person you can depend on to get jobs done whether large or seemingly inconsequential.

Russ Anderson would unfailingly attend the meetings and functions and would not shirk any of the duties of the city council. He would listen to the community's input and try to make well thought out decisions. He would serve the position with honesty and integrity.

Join me in voting for Russ Anderson on Nov. 6, for city council.
