Optimist football sophomores lose in overtime

There were some close exciting football games last Saturday in Optimist Football.

In the Sophomore (10-year-olds) Division, Johnson Brothers Hospitality lost in overtime to Mod Woodman, 22-14.

In the Freshman (nine-year-olds) Division, Moxie Java-TCBY lost a close game to Boise Police, 20-16, and Schumacher shut out C-2 Construction, 12-0.

In the Junior (11-year-olds) Division, Mountain Home Physical Therapy dropped an 8-0- contest to Simplots.

In the Senior (12 year-olds) Division, Master Electric lost to Meridian Green, 18-6.

In Flag Football (7-8 year-olds), Thrifty Car Sales faced Mobile Data of Kuna, and Elmore Medical Center and Mountain Home Auto Ranch both traveled up to Wood River for games. Elmore Medical faced Wood River Green, and Mountain Home Auto Ranch took on Wood River White. No scores are kept in Flag Football.
