Magistrate's Court

Robert L. Johnson, 31, was charged with battery-domestic violence. Johnson was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail (135 days suspended, 32 days credited), placed on 2 years probation and fined $1,000 ($1,000 suspended) plus $120 in court costs.

Johnson was charged with a probation violation, found guilty and sentenced to 14 days in jail (14 days credited).

Johnson was charged with a second probation violation, found guilty and sentenced to 85 days.

Raymond L. Potter, 20, was charged with the possession of a controlled substance. Potter pleaded not guilty, but was found guilty, sentenced to 60 days in jail (55 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation, ordered to serve 100 hours of community service (60 hrs. community service on 3 days remaining), fined $500 ($250 suspended) plus $683.50 in court costs.

Potter was charged with the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Potter pleaded not guilty, but was found guilty, sentenced to 60 days (55 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, and fined $500 ($250 suspended).

During trial, Potter was found guilty for a charge of contempt of court and ordered to serve 5 days in jail (3 days suspended, remanded)

Potter was also charged with a probation violation. Potter was found guilty, sentenced to 5 days in jail (5 days credited) and placed on probation.

Ozzie Streeter, 43, was charged with domestic violence (violation of protection order). Streeter was found guilty, ordered to serve 60 days in jail (55 days suspended), placed on 12 months probation, issued a 5 day work release, and fined $200 plus $477.50 in court costs.

Streeter was charged with a probation violation, found guilty and ordered to serve 5 days in jail (concurrent with Ada County cases and consecutive to Elmore County cases).

Joseph C. Schafer, 22, was charged with reckless driving. Schafer pleaded not guilty , but was found guilty fined $250 plus $74.50 in court costs.

During trial, Schafer was charged with contempt of court, found guilty, ordered to serve 3 days in jail (3 days suspended) and fined $75 in fines plus $50 in court costs.

Rebecca D. Soboslai, 18, had a charge of the possession, distribution, and use of tobacco as a minor dismissed by the prosecutor.

Soboslai had a charge of possession of a controlled substance amended to the possession, use and influence of marijuana/paraphernalia as a minor. Soboslai pleaded guilty, however, the case was withheld.

Michelle Hill, (age unknown), was charged with petit theft. Hill was found guilty, ordered to serve 50 days jail (48 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, fined $500 ($350 suspended) plus $196.50 in court costs.

Benjamen T. Sommer, 19, was charged with inattentive/careless driving. Sommer was found guilty, ordered to serve 50 days in jail (48 days suspended), placed on 1 year probation, fined $300 plus $147.50 in court costs.

Gonzalo Sanchez-Sanchez, 19, had a charge of driving without privileges amended. Sanchez was found guilty, sentenced to 20 days in jail, placed on 1 year probation, had his drivers license suspended for 1 year, fined $500 plus $162.50 in court costs.

Sanchez was found guilty on failure to maintain liability insurance. Sanchez was fined $100, sentenced to 5 days jail (concurrent with count).

Jason N. Rogers, 35, had a charge of battery that was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Tamara Lorene Bevell, 38, was charged with restricting or obstructing officers. Bevell was found guilty, sentenced to 3 days in jail, fined $250 plus $72.50 in court costs.

During trial, Bevell had a charge of contempt of court that was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Brian D. Seeley, 19, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Seeley pleaded guilty, however the case is being withheld.

Seeley was charged with the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Seeley was found guilty, and fined $100 ($100 restitution)

John M. Portlock, Jr., 24, was charged with battery. Portlock pleaded not guilty and the case was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Catherine S. Walker, 50, was charged with battery-domestic violence. Walker was found guilty, sentenced to 60 days in jail, (58 days suspended, 2 days credited), placed on 1 year probation, fined $300 ($300 suspended) plus $85.50 in court costs.

Jodie L. Wolfenbarger, 39, was charged with battery. Wolfenbarger was charged with guilty and sentenced to 16 days jail (16 days credited).

Terry L. Dougherty, 47, had a charge of driving under the influence that was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Sean Len Cobos, 19, was charged with the possession, consumption and the purchase of an alcoholic beverage as a minor. Cobos was found guilty, ordered to serve 10 days in jail (10 days suspended), placed on 60 days probation, had his drivers license suspended on 60 days, fined $500 ($300 suspended) plus $77.50 in court costs.

Andrew D. Fields, 18, had a charge of inattentive/careless driving amended to exceeding the maximum speed limit. Fields was found guilty and fined $20.50 plus $41.50 in court costs.

Paul Robert Straitt, 25, was found guilty to a charge of battery.

Edward L. Crane, 55, was charged with the failure to purchase and holding an invalid drivers license. Crane was found guilty, sentenced to 2 days in jail, fined $200 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Crane was charged with failure to provide proof of insurance. Crane was found guilty, sentenced to 2 days in jail (consecutive to count 1), and fined $200.

Wesley D. Vanortwick, 54, was charged with a law enforcement rules violation (motor carrier dept.). Vanortwick was found guilty, and fined $43.50 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Vanortwick had a charge of failure to appear for his misdemeanor citation that was dismissed by the court.

Max L. Adamson, Jr., 46, was charged with having no license or kennel license for the dogs he owns. Adamson was found guilty, and fined $50 plus $72.50 in court costs.

Kendra Caidence Anderson, (age unknown), was charged with the purchasing, consumption, and the possession of an alcoholic beverage as a minor. Anderson was found guilty, had her drivers license suspended for 30 days, and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Stephen S. Gill, 16, was charged with the purchasing, consumption and the possession of an alcoholic beverage as a minor. Gill was found guilty, had his drivers license suspended 30 days and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Logan D. Tysinger, 19, was charged with failure to provide proof of insurance. Tysinger was found guilty, and fined $150 plus $75.50 in court costs.

Coty Bieroth, 15, was charged with the possession, distribution, and the use of tobacco as a minor. Bieroth was found guilty, ordered to serve 10 days jail, (10 days suspended), placed on 6 months probation, fined $300 ($150 suspended) plus $75.50 in court costs.
