Change of command ceremony on base this Friday

Lt. Gen. Norman R. Seip, commander of 12th Air Force, will formally hand the flag of the 366th Fighter Wing over to Col. James S. Browne during a change-of-command ceremony on Sept. 7.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. in Hanger 201 at Mountain Home AFB.

Browne is coming to the wing after serving a tour as the executive officer to Gen. T. Michael Moseley, the Air Force chief of staff.

He is replacing Col. (brigadier general selectee) Anthony Rock, who is completing his tour as leader of the Gunfighters. Rock is moving on to become deputy director of operations for North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
