Cross country runners place in top 10

Three Mountain Home cross country runners placed in the top 10 at the New Plymouth Invitational cross country meet last Thursday at New Plymouth.

Hailey Schaefer finished sixth in the girls race, running a 24:17.

Jessi Cameron came in ninth, running a 25:01. Jennica Quintal ran a 27:56, Alisha Crandell ran a 33:19, Courtney Ashford finished with a 37:29, Korie Foster ran a 39:23, Alisha Caldwell, 40.00, and Ashley Benham, 40:30.

In the boys competition, Matt Bernyk led Mountain Home with a 20:35, good for 10th. Gavin Cline ran a 20:36, Josh Bush ran a 21:11, Garrett Wood, 21:48, Andrew Martin, 22:13, and Nico Pinque, 22:57. Nick Reynolds ran a 20:30 practice run.

The Tigers are scheduled to go to Hailey for the Wood River Invitational on Thursday, and go to Vale, Ore., for the Jackrabbit Invitational on Saturday.
