Reiniers to plan 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Reinier will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this week with an open house hosted by their children.

All family and friends are invited to attend the event, which will be held at the LDS Stake Center in Mountain Home from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 21.

Marvin Reiner married Norma Wilson in Bordon, Ind., on Sunday afternoon, July 21, 1957. Marvin had enlisted in the Air Force three years earlier in 1954, and his military career lasted 24 years, taking the family to Misawa and Okinawa, Japan, as well as Louisiana, New Mexico and Idaho.

After retiring from the USAF he worked from 1978-1996 for Morrison-Knudsen.

The couple have lived in Mountain Home for the last 32 years.

They have four children, Martha and her husband, Ronnie Ralphs, Norman and his wife, Simonne Reiner, George Reiner and Timothy Reiner, as well as seven grandchildren.
