Arlene Noble.

Arlene Noble, 50, of Elko, Nev., formerly of Mountain Home, died July 12, 2007, at Elmore Medical Center, with her family by her side after what was described as "a courageous 10-year battle with cancer."

At this time no services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Arlene was born in Everett, Wash., to Sig and JoAnn Clark, on Feb. 11, 1957. She was the second of four siblings, sisters Ardie McMonigle and Jessica Miller of Mountain Home and brother Jerry Clark of Sedona, Ariz.

As part of an Air Force family she attended schools in Minot, N.D., Victorville, Calif., and Mountain Home.

She was a 1975 graduate of MHHS.

She attended the University of Idaho at Moscow and later was employed at the Circle K Regional Office in Boise and at the engineering offices of Barrick Mining in Elko, Nev.

She married Orie Noble in 1989 in Boise and their two children, Audie and Maggie, were born in Boise. They moved to Elko in 1992 where Arlene and Orie were both employed by Barrick Mining.

Besides spending time with her family, Arlene's favorite hobbies were cooking, sewing, making stained glass art and just recently conquering Sudoku puzzles.

"Arlene was an incredible woman and an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed," her family said.

She is survived by: her husband, Orie Noble; her son, Audie Noble; her daughter, Maggie Noble; her stepson, Matthew Noble, all of Elko; her stepdaughter, Hillary, and her husband, Jay Spanberger, of Boise; two grandchildren; her parents, Sig and JoAnn Clark of Mountain Home, and all her siblings.
