On July 4, Gregory Scott Muller, who is employed by Northwest Paramedics Associates (NPA), was arrested in Meridian for the felony charge of lewd conduct with a minor child under sixteen years of age.

Muller is a supervisor with NPA and works several shifts a month from the Mountain Home location as an emergency medical service provider.

Meridian police arrested Muller for molesting a 10-year old girl, reportedly a family friend from out of state, after the victim's family contacted the police and officers determined their was "probable cause" and enough evidence for the arrest, based on interviews with the girl and her family.

Kari Vogt, a supervisor with NPA, said, "We feel terrible about this. He is a loving, caring father and we are very upset about the whole thing. Can't they [the media] find something else to print? He is not guilty yet, he hasn't been convicted."

Vogt said that Muller has been placed on administrative leave.

If convicted, Muller could face a maximum sentence of life in prison. He was arraingned last Thursday and is being held in the Ada County jail on $500,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 19.
