Code enforcement is really helping

Dear editor:

Kudos to Elmore County Growth and Development.

I recently had a problem with neighborhood trash piling up and causing quite a stench. I called Central District Health, then the city, (but) being in the county I did not know if there would be any recourse.

Then, quite by accident, I was informed by a new acquaintance of a new position dealing with code enforcement. I called Officer Noe Garza. The response was prompt and the situation was dealt with. I could not believe how quickly this was resolved.

This new position and services that are provided should not be such a big secret. Knowing there is a code enforcement officer to take the headaches is a gift to this community. Good job!
