Mountain Home head track coach Rich Urquidi was pleased with the efforts at the Nampa meet.

"They've been working out hard and it's been paying off. I can't say enough about our numbers. We're placing two or three kids in each event and that adds up, so we're really pleased."

The Tiger thinclads went to Timberline on Tuesday for a triangular meet with Timberline and Boise. They go to Mountain View on Thursday and Friday for the Bandana Treasure Valley Invitational.

"That will be a good one," said Coach Urquidi of the Mountain View meet. "That will be the 5A and 4A SIC teams, and looking at the times throughout what's been going on, quite a few of our 4A conference (teams) have done better than the 5As, so that will be fun."
