Gail Marie Andersen, 52, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at her home, with her family at her side.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.

Gail was born May 20, 1954, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Garlin and Hazel Maxine Boling.

She graduated from Walled Lake Western High School in 1972 and completed her degree in Executive Secretary in 1974 from Oakland Community College.

She married Kenneth Andersen on Oct. 1, 1976, in Walled Lake, Mich. Together they lived in Virginia, Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, Washington, Alaska, New Jersey and most recently, Mountain Home.

Gail like to read and sew. Her favorite hobby was supervising her husband as he worked on projects around the house, her family said. When she was able, she worked with the Brownies, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was also active in military spouses' organizations and the ombudsman program.

Gail is survived by: her husband, Kenneth Andersen; her son, Nicholas of Mountain Home; her daughter, Melissa, and her husband, David Reeves, of Mountain Home; her parents, Garlin and Maxine Boling of Florida; her sister, Carol and her husband, Richard Green, of Michigan, and her brother, Gar Boling of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark.
