Mountain Home Tiger wrestling coach Lynn Knudson was pleased with their efforts Thursday night.

"Every match they're stepping up and they look so much better than all the teams they've wrestled this year. I feel we've done a great job of getting them in shape, and when I watch them, the competition level is a lot different.

"I'm really excited about the way they're wrestling right now."

The wins improved the Tigers to 18-1 in dual match competition and 3-0 in conference action.

Mountain Home wrestled at Timberline against the host 5A Wolves and Homedale last (Tuesday) night. The Tigers travel to Rexburg for the Madison Invitational Wrestling Tourney this Friday and Saturday.

"The Madison Tourney is a regular tournament format, so that will give us a chance to see how we do there," said Coach Knudson.
