She met her future husband, Dennis, when they were seniors in high school. After graduation from the State University of New York at Buffalo, they were married on Aug. 6, 1966.
Dennis entered the United States Air Force and they began their life of travel and fun. Assignments included California, South Carolina, Dennis to Thailand for a year, Germany, Las Vegas, Mountain Home, England, back to Mountain Home, and retirement. Along the way many good friends were made, her family said.

Dennis and Sue retired early, took up golf and became addicted. They loved spending winters in Palm Springs and summers in Mountain Home.
Besides golf, Sue loved her family and friends, her home, her pets, working in her yard, wine and cooking. She was a great cook and Dennis liked to eat whatever she made, her family noted.
