Mountain Home struggled in their season opening soccer match against Bishop Kelly, losing to the Lady Knights, 6-0, on Aug. 21 at Bishop Kelly.

Mountain Home goalie Char Kaufman had 14 saves on goal for the Lady Tigers against the Lady Knights, who have moved down to 4A, after playing at the 5A level for a number of years.

"We lost a whole bunch of defenders that were seniors last year, and it showed," said Lady Tiger girls soccer coach Carlos Jacome.

"We've got to try and build a defense."
