Hall to marry Groat

Rachel Dawn Hall and John DeMont Groat

Dr. R. Terry and Mrs. Debra Hall of Mountain Home have announced the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Rachel Dawn Hall, to John DeMont Groat, son of Mr. Jeffrey L. and Mrs. Kristine Groat, also of Mountain Home.

Rachel and John are 2003 graduates of Mountain Home High School.

Rachel has attended Brigham Young University-Idaho since January of 2004, and taught swimming lessons at the Mountain Home city pool this summer.

John served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Costa Rica. He currently is employed by Les Schwab Tires in Mountain Home.

For the first few months of their marriage John and Rachel plan on residing in Mountain Home and then hope to be able to continue their university studies.

The couple's wedding is planned for Aug. 18, 2006, in the Boise Temple.

Following the ceremony a reception will be held in their honor at 7 p.m. August 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1150 N. 8 East St., Mountain Home.
