Lady Tigers to host Nampa

Wednesday, November 30, 2005

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers return to action tomorrow (Thursday) night when they host Nampa in their SIC 4A conference opener.

The Lady Tigers stand at 0-4 on the season this year, suffering non-conference losses to Eagle, Centennial, Mountain View and Capital.

Marquina Gilliam has been a big plus to the Mountain Home offense this year. The 5' 7" junior is leading the team in scoring, having netted 57 points in four games, including 22 her last time out at Capital.

Lady Tiger Coach Brian English should also have senior guard Erica Stanton back in the lineup. The 5' 7" Stanton led the team in scoring last year as a junior, and scored 14 points in their season opener at Eagle before she went down with an ankle injury.

Sophomore action tips off at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, with JV action at approximately 6 p.m. and the varsity game set to go at 7:30 p.m.
