Kuna 1

Mountain Home played Kuna tough, holding off the Lady Kavemen, 2-1, in SIC 4A conference girls soccer last Monday at Eastside Park.

Carmen Santy and Emily Moranda both scored goals for Mountain Home. Jessica Hendershot and Shainna Hawley each had an assist.

Savannah Lopez had 13 saves on goal.

"It was a good win," said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Carlos Jacome. "Kuna's a tough team and last time we beat them 5-1, so I knew they came to play. I was afraid they were going to tie it, and I don't want a tie, we need to win right now."
