Thelma Lucille Rice Miller, 78, of Golden, Colo., formerly of Glenns Ferry, died peacefully May 15, 2005, after a brief illness.

She was born and raised in Glenns Ferry.

"The impact of Thelma's life on others is immeasurable through her associations as a military wife, Delta Gamma Sorority housemother, a real estate agent, an artist and crafter, a member of Eastern Star and Job's Daughters, and through her undeniable influence on friends, neighbors and family from Idaho to Colorado," her family said. "She passed in the same way she lived her life, with dignity and grace.

Thelma is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Stevenson of Stillwater, Okla., and Linda Knudson of Golden, Colo.; three grandchildren; her sister, Ina Pasborg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Christian Miller; and siblings, Gertrude Bend, Doris Willis, and Albert Rice.
