Janice Rainey Haderlie Fleming, 69, of GrandView, died Feb. 20, 2005 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise of pnuemonia.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, from 5-7 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Grand View. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.

Janice was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Afton,Wyo. to Willard Franklin Rainey and Sarah Ellen Cranney. Janice had four sisters, Dorothy, Elaine, Jerry and Ellen.

On June 13, 1952, Janice married Charles B. Haderlie at the family home in Freedom, Wyo. Four children were born to that union: Brad, Kathy, Kristy, and Valarie. They made their home in Idaho Falls.

On March 3, 1966, Charles died at the age of 39. That fall Janice married Albert E. Fleming who had three children, Pam, Dan and Chris. Together with their seven children they moved to Boise.

The spring of 1970 Janice and Al purchased the Waterfront Resort on C.J. Strike Reservoir and operated it for many years.

Later Al went to work for Idaho Game and Fish and they moved into town.

Al died July 9, 1992. Janice and Al had been married 26 years.

Janice is survived by: her seven children, Pam Garmire of Milwaukee, Ore., Brad Haderlie of Grand View, Dan Fleming of Boise, Kathy (Don) Johnson of Auburn, Wyo., Kristy (Jeff) Matheis of Boise, Chris (Brian) Collett of Oreana, and Valarie (Doug) Hatch of Warren, Ore.; sisters Dorothy Hemmert of Thayne, Wyo., Elaine Hale of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ellen (Kelly) Hebdon of Thayne, Wyo.; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren (with three more on the way).

She was preceded in death by both her husbands, her parents, sister Jerry Smith, and a great-granddaughter.
