Lady Tigers fall to Vallivue 55-27

A 20-2 scoring edge for Vallivue in the third quarter proved to be too much to overcome for the Mountain Home Lady Tigers, who lost to the Lady Falcons 55-27 last Tuesday in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.

Vallivue led 16-8 after a quarter, and 27-17 at halftime. After the bad third quarter effort, the Lady Tigers trailed 47-19 heading into the final quarter. Mountain Home could do no more than match baskets in the fourth, for a 55-27 final.

Jessica Egusquiza led Mountain Home with 11 points and four rebounds. Michelle Reynolds had seven points, Nicole Roelofs, three, Erin Mullen and Bethany Law each had two points, and Erica Stanton and Dani Dean both scored one. Stanton led the team in steals, with five, and assists, with three.

This week's game against Jerome has been canceled and will be rescheduled.
