Tiger boys soccer falls to Vallivue

Wednesday, October 6, 2004

The Mountain Home Tigers dropped a heartbreaker at Vallivue last Thursday when the Falcons scored in the final minute of the contest to claim a 2-1 conference boys soccer match.

Brady Rector scored Mountain Home's lone goal, off an assist by Brian Weiss. Aaron Swartz had six saves on goal.

"We didn't play that well, but you can't hold anything against Vallivue, they kept plugging and plugging away," said Mountain Home boys soccer coach Andrew Kerr.

The Tigers were home against Kuna on Monday, and go to Nampa to face the Bulldogs tomorrow (Thursday). They close out their regular season schedule next week with home games against Skyview (October 11) and Emmett (Oct. 14). The District Tournament starts Oct. 18 at Caldwell.
