Peggy was born on Jan. 20, 1920, to William and Mary Watson in Philadelphia, Penn., where she graduated from Germantown High School.

Peggy worked at Elmore Memorial Hospital as a medical technologist from 1955 until her retirement in 1982. She was a highly skilled technician in both lab and x-ray and many patients would request her specifically whenever they needed lab work, her family noted. They added that "Peggy loved the ocean, traveling, dining at restaurants, word puzzles, working in her garden and she thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren."
