Doyel and Fran Carroll

Doyel and Fran Carroll will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this week.

They were married Aug. 6, 1954, in Lovelock, Nev.

They moved to Kellogg, Idaho, in their early years of marriage where Doyel began his electrical career at Bunker Hill. In 1972, they moved to Mountain Home and in 1978 started their own electrical business and maintained it for 25 years.

Doyel is a deacon and teacher at New Hope Christian Fellowship and Fran leads praise and worship.

They enjoy fishing and hunting and going to the mountains to pick huleberries. But they love to spend time with their family. They are described as "loving parents, devoted grandparents and awesome great-grandparents who for 25 years would do anything for their family and friends. Their love for God and each other touch so many lives and all who know them feel blessed to call them friend."
